We are a small, dynamic team of eight, dedicated to supporting the clinical research industry through education, qualifications, and professional standards. Our clients include the NHS, private research organisations, and international partners across the UK, Americas, Australia, and New Zealand.
We are now looking for a creative and driven apprentice to join our team as an Digital Marketing and Events Assistant. If you’re eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, event planning, and sales support, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills while working in a fast-paced, global industry.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Digital Marketing and Events Assistant (Apprentice), you will play a key role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts while learning valuable skills in digital marketing, event coordination, and client engagement. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Marketing & Partnerships Manager, gaining real-world experience in a variety of marketing and business activities.
The apprentice will work from home and therefore will need to be able to work independently and without close supervision. However, direction and support will be provided by the CEO and Marketing & Partnerships Manager. Additionally, a Development Coach from Creative Alliance will support the apprentice through their learning and development journey.
- With training and mentorship, you will develop expertise in:

- Supporting the planning and execution of online and in-person events
- Maintaining and updating our sales and marketing databases
- Assisting with website management and content creation
- Engaging with industry professionals and clients to support business growth
- Coordinating with external marketing agencies and suppliers when needed
- Providing general business support and participating in ad-hoc projects

You will be completing Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice
(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3. As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)
As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.
**Training is a blended learning delivery model**: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:
