Manchester, United Kingdom Dizplai Full time

**Technical Content Writer**

**Hybrid working (3 days a week in Manchester office)**

**Up to
- £37,000**

**Full Time - Permanent**

Are you an excellent communicator with a knack for translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content? Dizplai is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Technical Content Writer to join our dynamic product and marketing teams in Manchester. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, create impactful documentation for global audiences, and accelerate your career in a fast-paced, innovative media tech environment.

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you'll be instrumental in crafting compelling technical content across various digital platforms. You'll help us empower our vibrant communities and clients by ensuring they have the information they need to effectively utilize our cutting-edge tools and features.

**About Dizplai**

You might not know our name, but if you've ever felt part of the action while watching your favourite sports, engaging with a social media creator, or cheering on your Premier League club, chances are you've experienced Dizplai.

Dizplai is a media experience company that transforms passive audiences into active, engaged communities across sports, social media, and more. We specialise in creating interactive experiences that bridge the gap between viewers and creators, driving real commercial value for our clients.

We're a passionate team of developers, designers, creatives, marketers, and product managers, united by a culture of transparency, diversity, and experimentation. We're driven by humanising content and media experiences.

**Interview Process**
- Initial Interview: A 30-minute virtual interview with a Human Resources representative to discuss the role and the company.
- Take-Home Assignment: Completion of a practical task designed to assess relevant skills.
- Final Interview: A 60- to 90-minute virtual interview, including a presentation of the take-home assignment to the hiring team and an in-depth discussion about the role.

**What you’ll do**

You will be focused on the company's newest software, learning it inside out, from the ground up, as it is built by the Product and Engineering teams. You will create user guides and online training materials that make it easy for both technical and editorial teams to understand the concepts behind the software, and how to operate it in a production environment.

You will be the kind of person who can take highly complex systems, understand them thoroughly, and be able to communicate with users of the system, ranging from technical broadcast specialists to producers and brand managers. You will create manuals and an online knowledge base, and script video training materials.

As well as the ability to write great content, you will also have a high level of knowledge of, and willingness to use, tools such as AI to improve the published material. Your writing will be picked up by internal-facing search and AI tools to help users of the software to fully understand what they are using.

Working in a cross-disciplinary role, you will liaise closely with Product, Engineering and Design to ensure that the material you create is fit for purpose and on brand. You will also work with the Client Services team to make sure users of the system have the materials they need, and to get feedback and ideas on your work.

**What we’re looking for**
- A portfolio of published technical writing that demonstrates a minimum of two years experience in creating relevant content
- A solid understanding of development and product lifecycles
- An understanding of content delivery in broadcast, OTT or online streaming
- Knowledge of SEO, writing for the web, and surfacing content from large datasets
- An understanding of what makes compelling training materials in written and video formats
- Demonstrable proof of keeping up with current technology trends
- Excellent research skills and the ability to convert complex technical concepts into concise, informative pieces of writing

If you're a passionate, creative individual who loves to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content and wants to work for a diverse, growing organisation, we encourage you to apply.
