**Job Overview**

There is availability for breakfast, lunch and evening shifts, or a combination.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
- Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any customer concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with stock rotation.
- Perform basic maths calculations for portioning and pricing as needed.

**Skills**
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with hospitality principles and practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portioning food accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
