**The Warehouse role**
Safety and Cleanliness: Maintaining a safe working environment and keeping the warehouse clean.
Stock Management: maintaining accurate stock levels ensuring mezzanine is well stocked, organizing storage areas, and using warehouse management systems.
Receiving and Processing: Unloading deliveries, checking for damage, and organizing stock.
**Duties and responsibilities of the role are**:
- Strong communicate with team leaders and Shift Manager to ensure the best stock management levels are met.
- Monitoring Stock Levels: Regularly checking inventory to identify low or empty stock levels.
- This includes tasks like receiving deliveries, organizing and storing goods, and restocking shelves or other storage areas. To also play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring a smooth flow of goods within the warehouse.
- Cleaning and maintenance: They may be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and sweeping areas, removing trash, and disposing of packaging materials.
- Assisting other staff: They may assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- To assist in meeting the targets of the Production Plan and other customer requirements.
- To help keep the area clean and hygienic, maintaining best in show housekeeping standards.
- To communicate with, motivate, support, and guide staff.
- Identify any training gaps and work with the Production Manager to propose or provide training.
- To minimize waste of all types, including ingredients, packaging, products, power, time etc.
- To help document aspects such as daily product usage, outputs and any other KPI’s as requested by the Shift Manager.
- To be directly involved in stock-takes as required by the Shift Manager.

**It’s essential that you have**:
- Worked within a warehouse role for a minimum of 1 year.
- Have an FLT licence (expired accepted)
- Worked within a food production role.
**It would be great if**:
First Aid and Food Safety certification (beneficial).
