ERS Consultants Ltd was founded in 2006 as energy, sustainability & design consultants. We provide energy
compliance services, MEP design services, environmental assessment services, BREEAM, CfSH and building
validation certification. We employ a team of specialists who are experts in their field, including Chartered
Engineers, BREEAM assessors, Part L assessors, dynamic thermal modelling specialists and building validation
specialists.

**The Role**:
As a sustainability Consultant you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of sustainability and
Building Regulations assessments in the built environment, including undertaking SAP and SBEM assessments
of new and existing dwellings. Qualified On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) is desirable.
Producing Energy and Sustainability Statements, Using Dynamic Thermal Modelling to carry out
overheating/thermal comfort assessment (CIBSE BB101, TM52, TM59). Carrying out daylight, sunlight and
overheating assessments. Carrying out commercial building surveys for EPC assessments and energy audits.
Risk of Condensation Reports, Floor risk assessments reports (FRA).

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proficiency and experience working with SAP for Part L compliance, At least two years’ experience in

Sustainability
- Good command of CAD or similar modelling software is essential
- Proficiency and experience working with IES, in particular for thermal modelling
- Work as part of multidisciplinary team. Attending, organising and chairing meetings with architects
- and the wider design team
- Assist graduates and new starters
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- A friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach
