A new opportunity has just become available and we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team at Allianz.

Please note: The individual will be based in our office in Guildford or Bournemouth at least 3 days a week and rest will be working from home. This role will sometimes require flexible working hours to suit the demands of the job.

**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to provide valuable insights and support to the leadership of the Department by undertaking work, research and preparation on their behalf.

**Role Level**

Associate - These roles provide specialist support or offer a level of core professional expertise, occasionally with some guidance and direction from leaders or technical leads. Roles in this cluster typically require a degree or professional qualification at a senior industry standard (e.g. chartered member of an institute). Roles may supervise teams and be responsible for its results, whilst working within established practices. Day-to-day team supervision would include performance coaching, coordinating activities and quality checking and work progress

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assists the Head of the Department in the preparation for meetings and presentations.
- Analyses key data and information to create timely Management Board and Munich reports (i.e. weekly or monthly) on behalf of the Department and Organisation.
- Manages and helps execute important conferences, away days and roadshows to ensure they run smoothly.
- Undertakes and in some cases leads certain high-level projects.
- Carries out research and analysis, drawing and presenting conclusions to the Department.
- Provides support on project and analysis work as and, when required, to other members of the Department or Executive Team.

**Technical Skills**
- Excellent organisational, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Able to use information to summarise, draw out key points and think creatively to further drive results.
- High-level researching and analytical skills.
- Comfortable preparing reports and presentations.

**Qualifications**
- Degree educated or equivalent.
- Continuing professional development.
- Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

**Experience**
- Proven track record of demonstrating effective planning, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Has a strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the UK Insurance Market.
- Experience of building and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
- Record of showing strong political awareness, flexibility in the face of shifting workloads, and using own initiative to ensure work is delivered beyond the role’s requirements.
- Experience of project management and delivering presentations effectively are important.
