**_HR Assistant _- Duties Responsibilities**:
- Preparing and administering necessary paperwork for employees (e.g., contractual changes, leaver documents).
- Updating the HR database and maintaining employee records and personnel files.
- Reviewing Fire Aider and Fire Marshal lists on a regular basis and organising training when required.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S matters, liaising with managers to ensure H&S assessments and training certificates are up to date.
- Ensuring workstation assessments are completed as required for at risk employees and sending annual reminders to complete workstation assessments to maintain compliance.
- Conducting cyclical audits (e.g., right to work checks).
- Providing an additional point of contact for general HR related issues signposting onwards to the HR Operational Team lead as appropriate.
- Ordering HR stationary and additional equipment for employees (special chairs, footrests, etc
- Providing references for ex-employees
**HR Assistant - Essential Experience**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Competent with Microsoft packages.
- Background of working in target driven environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Good team player.
