We’re looking for people who are passionate about protecting the interests of both Admiral and our customers. You will be dealing with a varied and interesting portfolio of claims investigations, that may include injury claims such as dog bites, slips/trips/falls, as well as property damage.
Flexibility and work life balance is important to us, and so your time will be split between home (80%) and office (20%), this will usually mean two days a week in the office. There is however the option for you to work more frequently from the office if this is your preference.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Identify and manage potential liability claims through to conclusion.
- Pro-actively manage a caseload of liability claims whilst keeping our customers up to date throughout the process.
- Ensure your claims are accurately reserved in line with our reserving philosophy.
- Defending allegations of negligence when we are not at fault.
- Negotiating settlement costs with the relevant third parties when applicable.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all teams across the department.
- Liaise and work closely with our panel solicitors.
- Stay up to date with legal aspects of liability.
- Act as a claims point of contact for Household Liability matters.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested according to the needs of the Household Claims department or company to ensure business targets are achieved.
