**Events and Marketing Executive - **Abbot House, Bury St Edmunds**

We are searching for a talented and motivated Events & Marketing Coordinator to work alongside the Events Manager in organising and attending the current events calendar. You will be responsible for all parts of event preparations, such as pre event planning, on site build & de-rig, day to day on site event management and evaluating success afterwards. The current Greene King events are located across the country. In addition there is also opportunity to work alongside the Brand Marketing teams to assist with marketing activation.

As the Event Coordinator, you should be well organised, have a high attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in an outdoor environment across a variety of hours.

**Accountabilities**:

- Reporting to the Events Manager, working as part of the Brewing & Brands Marketing Team
- Work with the Marketing team, especially brand managers, to ensure the brands are represented in the correct way
- Work with the trade marketing teams to ensure event support for internal pub and trade events (including trade shows)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the events manager with the planning of events over the year
- Manage and run the events when needed
- Manage the mobile bar calendar and logistics, working with agencies to ensure the successful delivery of all three vehicles
- Ensuring all events equipment is in good working order, relevant and up-to-date branding
- Support the wider events team with administrative duties, where required

**Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive
- PC / Keyboard skills
- Customer Focus
- Effective communicator
- Excellent planning skills
- Essentially a team player, however, self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge and understanding of Greene King beer brands and brewing process
- A real passion for Greene King beer brands

**Additional Requirements**
- Full clean driving licence (essential)
- Personal licence holder (APLH) (desirable, training will be provided if you do not have this)
- Experience moving / driving vans or large vehicles - not over 3.5ton (advantageous)
- Frequent evening and weekend working
- Extensive travel within the UK (seasonally)
