Internal Sales Administration job
Job description
We are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our sales team and help us achieve our goals of excellent service and growth as a team. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for external sales representatives.
A good knowledge of customer service best practices with experience in same is preferable, alongside a willingness to learn. Good organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and exhibit a willingness to grow as part of a team and within the role.
Outbound sales duties and responsibilities
- Produce quotations to suit requirements
- Process sales orders
- Check data accuracy in output, including quotations, orders, and invoices
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
- Liaise with the production department to ensure delivery to customer schedule
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Communicate feedback from customers to internal departments to improve our services
- Ensure all enquiries are responded to rapidly and diligently
- Outbound calls to lapsed customers for quote/ requirement validation and support
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Support and facilitate the External Sales Team and their customers
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
- Methodical with attention to detail
- Hands on experience with CRM software, and MS Office (MS Excel, WORD & PowerPoint in particular)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Ability to work to deadlines
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
