**Vacancy Overview**

A Contract Manager opportunity has arisen within the Commercial Services part of Central Supply Chain. This is a key role, responsible for supporting the contract management of large multi-party commercial contract alliance arrangements and managing singlecontract party arrangements. The specific portfolio will focus on the Technical Support and Technical Consultancy Alliance (TSA / TCA) frameworks, although management and support to new and existing lifetime arrangements may also form part of the remit forthe role. This role requires flare and the use of commercial judgement together with strong stakeholder management and influencing / communication skills to work with people at all levels both internally and with contract partners.

**Nature and Scope**

Reporting into the Senior Contract Manager, the role holder will manage some single party contracts and support the ongoing contract management of large multi-party commercial contract alliance arrangements, combined with the development of framework strategyto meet existing and future business requirements.

**Principal Accountabilities**

Ensure that contract management activities are effective and streamlined, and that opportunities for synergies with other key alliances have been maximised Develop and maintain appropriate key metrics and reporting as part of governance and control activitiesTake responsibility for ensuring key delivery alliances are managed to deliver commercial advantage and value for money is achieved. Drive commercial challenges as well as taking responsibility for contract and partner performance improvement. Develop andlead a Continuous Improvement plan ensuring that this in line with the agreed strategy Develop and maintain sound relationships with key partners and internal customers at all levels. As part of Nuclear Generation’s Supply Chain function, ensure that companycommercial strategy and processes are being appropriately devised and deployed within the area of responsibility

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience**

We’re looking for individuals who have experience of working in a technical engineering environment and are educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent. As a Contracts Manager you will have knowledge and experience in relevant contract/commercial managementdealing with large multi-million pound contracts. We’re looking for an individual who has a strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships across all levels.
