**Overview**

Our client is a leading global production company, specialising in films, videos, animation and digital content. They are now looking for a Head of Production Accounting and Reporting to cover a maternity leave contract and take the lead on a number of keyfinancial account and budgeting activities.

**About the role**

This position would suit an experienced and qualified professional, looking to find a hands-on role where they can directly impact a business with their expertise.Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Head of Production Accounting & Reporting willbe responsible for a range of cost and forecasting activities, as well as supporting both junior and senior staff with their work.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Managing key production accounting processes across all Group productions;
- Producing accurate cashflow and job cost forecasting and reporting;
- Leading monthly client calls to review costs and forecasts, as well as further client enquiries;
- Working with in-house production teams and third-party contractors on forecasting and reporting needs;
- Managing a junior finance team member, including reviewing banking and transaction work as needed;
- Working with the Finance Director to design effective processes and templates for working with new start
- up companies;
- Working with senior management members on ad hoc budgeting and project tasks as required.

**The ideal person**

The person will be comfortable working with clients and staff at all levels of the company, and be able to support less experienced team members. They will have strong organisational skills to manage effective processes, as well as to help the developmentof the accounts production and reporting function within the business.
