Hourly rate dependant on experience, we are happy to consider chef professionals with no teaching experience who demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher.
- Experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie is essential
**The role: Hospitality and Catering Teacher**
Full-time opportunity to teach across levels 1, 2 and 3
**What do you need to be a successful Hospitality and Catering Teacher?**
Whilst previous teaching experience and qualification would be an advantage, it is not a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications to teach Hospitality and Catering, and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provideyou with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
You will have worked in the industry as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie and you will have a passion for using this experience to develop the skills of the future generation.
Communication with industry partners is also a requirement for this role as we work closely with hotel chains, local restaurants, and contract catering employers to supply work placement, apprenticeships, mentorships and masterclass demonstrations for ourstudents.
You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
