**Report to**: Clubhouse Manager
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Follow all company policies and procedures e.g. attendance, timekeeping, dress code, name badge, appearance.
- Review daily bookings, function sheets and table reservations.
- Greet members/guests utilising name where possible. Offer members/guests menus and inform of specials/ menu changes. Make suggestions and answer questions regarding food, beverages and service, suggest other menu items, i.e. appetisers, wine, coffee etc.
- Check order and process all orders through ESP, serve as appropriate.
- Check orders to ensure complete and correct and meets presentation and quality standards. Serve courses at appropriate intervals and prepare any package orders for take out.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as requested, adhering to Weights and Measures compliance, utilising appropriate glass for order.
- Maintain and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures thoroughly and in a timely fashion including, but not restricted to glassware, equipment, storage areas and refrigerators.
- To assist the F&B Manager with work schedules, payroll, and staff training duties.
- To assist the F&B Manager to monitor and document staff attendance, communicating with the food and beverage manager regarding which staff members are not meeting attendance requirements.
- To complete opening and closing procedures as per shift. Cash-up and balance till(s) to cash-up report.
- To ensure maintenance, cleanliness and overall appearance of the centre are to BGL standard, and to liaise with the F&B Manager over any issues.
- Conduct a daily Club tour of the property to ensure a clean and tidy operation.
- To ensure the well-being of the centre assets, including cash and stock, and to ensure that the centre and associated buildings are left secure.
- To ensure that all policies and procedures related to the operation of the Food and Beverage department are enforced and implemented appropriately, sanitation, food preparation and storage, alcoholic beverage service, cash and credit card processing, till operations, stock control and health and safety.
- To ensure that adequate inventories are maintained, secured and storage is provided.
- Reviews all bookings for catered activities, i.e.: banquets and meetings, and ensure all appropriate preparation is made in advance.
- Solicits and handles customer enquiries, comments, suggestions and concerns to provide answers or determine solutions. Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction..
- To undertake any further duties as requested by the Clubhouse Manager.
**Job Types: Full-time 40 hour Contract**

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
