**Role Responsibilities**:

- Take personal responsibility for part production from raw material to finished item.
- Produce exacting parts cost/time/quality effectively from CAD model and 2D drawing.
- PC skills to develop and document processes, structure, and work area organisation.
- Operate and be responsible for a million pound 5-axis CNC mill-turn machine tool.
- Selection of optimal cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures.
- Be responsible for continuous improvement of all aspects of realising exceptional machined parts.
- Monitor machine operations and performance criteria, making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting issues as they arise, maximising quality, repeatability, and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and clean of machines to ensure optimal performance.

**Attributes Required**
- Five years minimum experience producing excellence with a 5-Axis CNC machine.
- Inherent knowledge of CNC (CAM) programming from CAD model.
- Design and create fixtures and jigs for optimal work holding.
- By familiar with inventory control and optimal tooling selection.
- Optimal development of operations, processes and cutting protocols.
- Familiarity with on machine in-cycle probing and part inspection.
- An enthusiastic problem solver, who excels in and enjoys their own space.
- Take pride in your workspace, its presentation and its upkeep.
- Self-critical nature and ability to thrive producing micron accurate excellence.

Pay: £22.00-£32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
