We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our small, friendly, and highly skilled team based in Huddersfield (HD4) for our precsion engineering client. 📍 Location: Huddersfield 💼 Position: Permanent 🕓 Hours: 39 per week 🗓️ Shift: Monday - Thursday, 07:00 - 17:15 Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (minimum) based on experience. Main Responsibilities: Programme, set, and operate CNC turning centres using Fanuc controls (experience with other systems will also be considered). Produce high-precision one-offs and small batch components across a wide range of materials, including stainless steels and exotics. Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications. Carry out self-inspection using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and bore gauges. Work to tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards at all times. Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment. Key Skills & Experience: Apprentice trained or minimum 3 years' experience in CNC turning programming, setting, and operating.
