**Job Purpose**:
Factory workers operate machinery to manufacture different products, which can vary depending on the industry. Factory workers are responsible for a range of functions including processing, sorting, and packing the products, as well as operating the machines and monitoring the output to check it is in line with compliance standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Precision cutting of materials
- Matching the correct tools to correct Job Spec
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ensuring accurate information is recorded on paperwork and signed by relevant person
- Handling with care of materials
- Check and ensure the quality of products produced
- Correct errors or discrepancies or deformities
- Clean and organise the shop floor in line with health and safety.
- Packing the products correctly for distribution
- Checking the right packaging has been used
- Max lift 25kg
- Work In an efficient and effective manner to meet the target schedules & deadlines
- Maintain Stock Levels.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Identify business improvement opportunities and feedback
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Occasional overtime to meet the Business needs
- Cross Functional working

**Desirable Skills**:
- GCSE Maths
- Understanding of production costs, including waste and rework
**The hours for this role are**:
Monday - Thursday 8:30am-17:00pm
Friday 7:30am - 16:00pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £ TBA
