We are currently recruiting for a Female Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Stoke-On-Trent area. The role will be varied, but you will be supporting our client to attend a local university, as well as to lead an individual and independent lifestyle in their own home and the community.

**Hours**_**:_25 hours per week during term time (Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays) and 25 hours per week non term which will require flexibility.

You will be working on a 1:1 as part of a small team.

Please note the client has 4 dogs in their family home, which at times you may come into contact with.

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.

**Who we are looking for**:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with:

- An interest in Psychology / Criminology
- The ability to build a rapport with others easily and provide companionship
- Personal care, including catheter care experience _(not essential)_
- Moving and Handling experience _(not essential)_
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to scribe clear and accurate notes.
- Ability to support with domestic duties and food preparation.

You should also have:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.38-£20.07 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
