**Ground Maintenance Team Leader**

£26,497.91 per annum

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Can you provide a first class gardening and grounds maintenance service? Do you have leadership skills?

Due to the expansion of Ground Solutions we are looking for a Ground Maintenance Team.

Ground Solutions is a residential property management company, looking for the right person to join a hard-working team of men and women who deliver a first-class service to all our customers.

The Role:

- Maintaining all planted areas, pruning and leaf clearance
- Shrub and tree planting work, setting out of shrubs, trees and bedding

Requirements & Responsibilities:

- To lead, motivate and instruct a small team on site in order to achieve and promote best practice
- Have good plant knowledge and identification
- Ensure daily and weekly targets are achieved
- Completion of internal records
- Liaise with site agents
- Drive and operate a range of plant and machinery
- Prior and proven experience in a similar role
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic
- Have an a good eye for detail

You will be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself, your team and others who may be affected by your activities.

Key skills/ Qualifications:

- You must hold a full UK clean driving licence
- Qualified to NVQ standard or equivalent
- PA1 and PA6 desirable
- Experience of leading a team in a similar role

You must have good communication skills, conduct yourself in a professional manner and be well-presented.

**Hours**: 7.00 to 4.00pm (April - Oct)/ 8.00 to 4.00pm (Nov - March)
