We are looking to recruit an experienced Band 3 administrator to join the Wokingham Community Nursing Service Team. You will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team which includes Community Nurses, Community Matrons, and the administrative Team to provide administrative support to the operational team, including collating and inputting data as well as receiving calls in the office.
You will be a team player and work collaboratively with staff from all disciplines whilst maintaining high professional standards. You will ensure good communication, and effective processes and procedures are maintained across the service.

**The post holder will work two different shift patterns**: 08:00-16:00 and 09:00 - 17:00 ,Monday to Friday and based at Community Nursing Office, Wokingham Community Hospital, Wokingham. Staff parking is available on site.
- To be the central point of contact and maintain relationships across the service, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures and administrative tasks.
- Ordering and maintaining stocks of nursing supplies, stationary, equipment and resources for the team via the Trusts procurement systems.
- Ordering patient equipment from NRS as delegated by the clinicians.
- Ensuring that all deliveries are checked and stored safely.
- Providing new staff with a fully equipped nursing bag.
- Completing forms and processing requests for on behalf of nurses.
- Typing confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales.
- Taking minutes at District Nursing Forums and Community Nursing Meetings.

**The 4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:

- High proficiency in IT particularly Excel and Word.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to be empathetic when talking to patients.
- Car driver and owner
