Management Accountant, Peterlee

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Preparation and issuing of departmental budgets
- Review and manage costings across the business
- Overseeing all finance administration including Payroll, NI, VAT and benefits management
- Overseeing credit control
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
- Produce month end and year-end financial reports
- Prepare statutory and management accounts
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
- Manage capital expenditure
- Produce financial statements including P&L accounts and cash flows
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Developing and managing financial systems

Criteria:

- Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel in addition to solid IT systems experience
- Accounts experience gained within food manufacturing or FMCG experience would be preferred
- The ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Good oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Sound business knowledge
- Accuracy and an eye for detail
