Production Operator in Custom Print Shop

**Description of the Company**

Azura Sport is a young custom-branded-merchandise company catering for the health + fitness industry. Despite being a start-up we have just celebrated our 4th birthday recently and we continue to well exceed industry expectations in both product service offerings and quality. We have recently launched some exciting/unique projects, that put us ahead of the curve of innovation in our industry and continue to provide out-of-the box thinking and creativity to our products/services.

**Role Overview**

**What you will be doing (job purpose, core responsibilities )**
- Working in production to fulfil orders across a variety of technologies. (pressing transfers onto clothing, bottles, accessories and more, embroidery, UV printing and sublimation too.)
- Organising production workflow, from goods in, through production itself to completion and dispatch
- Ensure all products are created to high quality standards, and accurate to brand requirements.
- Prioritise jobs where required and managing production deadlines
- Ensuring print checks and well-kept maintenance of machinery, printers and tidiness of workspaces
- Working fluently across a variety of job types throughout the day
- Continuously self-evaluating and self-motivating to ensure maximum production efficiency.

- Experience in a custom branding workshop environment (advantage)
- Experience working with embroidery machines (advantage)
- Experience working with UV Printing (advantage)
- Within the next 6-12 months we will be looking to run fully sublimated, cut-and-sew technology for garments like match shirts and hoodies etc. So experience within this particular technology would be beneficial indeed.
- Well organised with the ability to manage your own workflow produce high quality and efficient work, sometimes at pace
- Team player with a positive ‘can-do’ energy, sociable and outgoing with the ability to take constructive feedback and manage tasks with little supervision
- Creative thinking with the ability to come up with a variety of new ideas and concepts to support your working role and those around you
- Good written communication
- Commercially astute, preferably with experience selling with Print-On-Demand/Etsy stores.
- Interested in strategy of creating products that sell well to our market
- Ideally a keen interest in Print-on-demand, merchandise and the health + fitness industry.
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies where provided.

Salary £11-14ph hourly rate / base salary equivalent (before bonus/commission opportunities)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
