**Head of Marketing - 1 year fixed term contract**

UK Meds is a family owned business providing a 5* online clinic and allowing customers to get the medications they require, delivered straight to their door.

You will lead a small marketing team consisting of a Marketing Executive, a Content Executive and Head of SEO and report into the Managing Director.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage the marketing team to deliver on business objectives in line with strategy for a number of human healthcare and pet brands.
- Delivering monthly 121s with the marketing team to ensure progress and development.
- Own and oversee the marketing plans and strategies, focusing on growth of the subscription area of the business.
- Relationship and output management of partner suppliers including social media, PPC and digital agencies.
- Support the Head of SEO with the Digital PR strategy and activity.
- Manage the monthly marketing reports, encouraging input from the marketing teams for their relevant sections.
- Sponsorship management of sponsor partners.
- Oversee the review platforms for the business on Feefo and Trust Pilot.
- Management of social media activity, both paid and organic.
- Manage and own the brand and brand strategy.
- Marketing planning based on current business requirements and external factors.
- Website optimisation and CRO working with the Head of SEO.
- Marketing budget management.
- Advertising planning and management.
- Support the Head of Pet Pharmacy with pet team direction.

**Who we are looking for**:

- An adaptable and resilient, experienced marketer who is happy rolling their sleeves up when needed but also able to think top level and communicate with board level stakeholders.
- Someone who enjoys a fast paced environment and who is able to constantly manage priorities based on evolving business needs.
- A person who has a good sense of humour, likes to work hard and play hard and who enjoys working in a business with little red tape.

**Person specification**:

- 5+ years experience in a marketing management role
- People management experience would be great
- Experience with online ecommerce marketing
- Experience of, or happiest working in a small agile business with little red tape
- Liking dogs is a must, as we have lots of pooches in the office
- Experience of working and managing across the full marketing mix.
- Marketing qualifications desirable
