Empowering Learning is dedicated to connecting educational settings with top-quality staff, ensuring the best learning experiences for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in shaping young minds and creating a nurturing environment for their growth and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures.
- Be punctual and reliable for shifts.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A recognised Early Years qualification, ideally Level 3.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
- Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safety procedures.

**Job Types**:
Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: £11.75- £13.75 per hour

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
