**Operational Risk Corporate Manager**
**Glasgow**

**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing independent oversight of the Operational Risk profile through the provision of effective, timely review and challenge of the Operational Risk management processes
- Conducting Risk Reviews in response to proactive identification of emerging risks within Corporate Bank, which will provide the business with insightful analysis
- Building effective relationships across 1LOD and 2LOD to support influencing and challenging senior figures to make risk-informed business and strategy decisions
- Reviewing existing products and new products, formally approving from an Operational Risk perspective
- Conducting / supporting forward looking risk tools and techniques such as RCSA, Strategic Risk Assessments and Key Risk Scenarios
- Producing of accurate and compelling Operational Risk reports to be presentation at senior management Committees

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience in working within Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit or an Internal controls environment, preferably in the financial sector
- Excellent practical understanding and experience of Operational Risk Management and Framework with a strong commercial awareness
- Proven analytical and planning skills with excellent problem solving skills and an ability to understand and identify themes from broad data sets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - English essential (written & spoken)

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Extensive knowledge of Corporate Banking business and products
- Comprehensive appreciation of other risk types and how they impact and relate to Operational Risk
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or have an appropriate professional qualification
