The Global Partnerships Lead is accountable for a broad scope of functional areas within Zayo Global Reach, focusing on Global Partnerships from both a Quoting & Carrier relations perspective. This role is also instrumental in driving strategic commercial initiatives and representing Zayo Global Reach in Europe from a Business Development perspective—engaging not only with customers externally but also collaborating closely with internal peers at Zayo Europe.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including overseeing the RFQ queue, analyzing vendor quotes, and ensuring SLA compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers by leading strategic vendor meetings, maintaining escalation contacts, and managing performance through SLA monitoring, KPI reviews, and data-driven insights.
- Develop global market expertise and support optimization and cost-saving initiatives through quoting analysis & pricing negotiation, vendor assessments, and strategic sourcing.
- Engage in commercial negotiations and assist with contract management activities including MSAs, amendments, service level agreements, and NDAs.
- Leverage data analytics and systems expertise to drive performance insights, support decision-making, and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Provide ad hoc support to resolve complex procurement or vendor-related issues and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance visibility and brand presence.
- Partner with Sales verticals to identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Collaborate with Sales to build and sustain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers by showcasing Global Reach’s capabilities and product/service offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Five - ten (5-10) years experience in the telecommunications industry, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
- Five (5) years experience with sales, negotiations, and/or contracts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & vendor management skills.
- Experience in price negotiations and contract management including legal aspects of vendor agreements.
- Knowledge of global market price points.
- Strong data analytics capabilities and experience.
- Excellent project management skills to manage project development and execution across multiple service providers and site locations.
- Ability to manage internal and external customer expectations.
- Good technical aptitude.
- Develop an aptitude with Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- The ability to act independently yet in alignment with department and firm goals to achieve optimal outcomes for a range of stakeholders (sales, finance, customer, vendor, network engineering & operations).
- Ability to work with deadlines, and under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, outgoing and positive, and to exercise independent judgment when making decisions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Demonstrated mutual acceptance and respect of all co-workers.
