A financial services firm are looking for an Azure Specialist with a remit to assist in implementing and supporting solutions from the Azure stack, across infrastructure, networking, security and data services.

The role is also responsible for troubleshooting and improving Azure and the related infrastructure, giving the opportunity for personal development, and acquiring knowledge of a range of cloud related technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide business as usual support for the Azure cloud environment deployed within the organisation
- Ensure consistency of implementation and support across Azure solutions within the organisation
- Migrating existing on-premises services / data to MS Azure / Cloud services
- Providing governance to the cloud environments by ensuring that the processes and guidelines are followed
- Support the implementation and business as usual operations of cloud solutions as part of the lifecycle of projects
- Maintain up to date knowledge on current and emerging Azure / Cloud Data technologies

**Technical Requirements**:

- Proven experience implementing and supporting solutions built on Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge in core Azure skills such as Databricks, Data Lake Gen2, SQL Server, PaaS solutions, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DataFactory, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps, Azure networking, Azure security, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Deploying and supporting cloud based ETL/ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of automation tools and the concepts of Automation, for example JAMs and Azure Automation
- Knowledge of data governance
- Experience using PowerShell for implementing / maintaining Azure solutions
- Experience of Azure monitoring and security features
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code
- Hold a relevant Azure Certification or able to evidence relevant experience
