**About The Role**:
In order to deliver the growth in customer numbers at the pace required, the business is constantly seeking new channels to market. The purpose of this role will be to provide dedicated resource to manage the identification of targets, develop relationships to open senior level dialogue, structure commercial proposals, lead negotiations and secure relationships with Employee Benefits providers and affiliate organisations. Additionally you will be required to prospect and sign new Affinity Partnerships and distribution opportunities, whilst also assisting with potential business acquisition opportunities.
- To lead the business development, identify partnerships and work with the HomeServe Now team to build propositions for Employee benefits Providers and Affiliates. With the objective of delivering new Customers at scale
- To identify and prospect new, profitable, partnerships, in line with the business strategy, whilst ensuring that financial and regulatory objectives are met
- To identify and prospect the acquisition of home assistance businesses, in line with the business strategy whilst ensuring that financial and regulatory objectives are met
- To identify and develop strong relationships at senior level with a pipeline of organisations for the above opportunities
- Dependent on opportunity size and scale, lead commercial and contractual negotiations with prospects.
- Ensure compliance with any legal and statutory requirements, including but not exclusively FCA legislation, data protection, health and safety and corporate governance.
- Perform all aspects of your role with due skill, care and diligence including effective controls, risk management and mitigation.
- Lead cross functional teams in the signing and/or acquisition of new targets, particularly through due diligence and integration.

- A collaborative Business Development professional who inspires trust and confidence in others. Able to operate across a matrix and lead cross functional teams, influencing and obtaining buy-in.
- Strong track record of Business Development within or with Employee Benefit providers
- An understanding of successful propositions for Employee Benefits programmes
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the experience and gravitas to work with senior members in prospect companies
- Able to adapt to meet the needs of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, focussed and diligent with outstanding communication skills
- Versatile, adaptable, proactive and comfortable with taking a hands-on approach
- Instant credibility, commercially savvy, bright, energetic and positive with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Diplomatic, persuasive, courageous, persistent, driven whilst acting with integrity
