**Business Development Executive - Delegate Sales**
**B2B Events, Media and Marketing Company**
**London based office, Hybrid working + Travel**
**Base Salary £28K+ Uncapped Commission**
You’ll be working with the Commercial Sales Director as a Business Development Executive. Your mission will be to increase the number of attendees at their UK and international events. This opportunity offers a clear fast-track route into sponsorship saleswithin the business.
**What will you be doing?**
- Selling delegate passes for industry-leading flagship events and exciting launch projects
- Working closely with the marketing team to generate leads plus use your own initiative to source and research potential attendees via the database, LinkedIn, industry publications, etc.
- Following up on incoming inquiries efficiently
- Lots of phone-based sales
- Setting up and attending in-person and virtual meetings with clients
- Building your network of industry professionals
- Attending UK and international events
- A mixture of new and repeat business
- Supporting ad-hoc projects when required
**Who are you?**
- A bright and ambitious Sales Executive working in a fast-paced sales environment, ideally within a relevant sector such as Recruitment, Events, Sales, Marketing, or Media
- You have a minimum of 6 months of sales experience, ideally B2B
- You’ll have excellent communication interpersonal (verbal & written) communication skills
- You’ll have experience working toward targets
- You have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise daily
- You’ll be extremely organisational with a high level of efficiency
- You have the ability to take the initiative to improve or even implement your own processes
- You are professional, positive, and reliable
- Proactive, adaptable, and happy working in a fast-paced environment
- Someone looking for a fast-track route to sponsorship sales
