**ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST**
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Parkers is a friendly accountancy practice in Hove, providing a broad range of accountancy services. We act for a variety of business and personal clients and pride ourselves on developing a close relationship with our clients.
The Administrator/Receptionist will provide administrative support and reception duties for our small Accountancy practice. This is a busy and varied role so you will need to have good communication and organisational skills and be able to interact with clients in a confident and polite manner. Good typing skills are also required.
The main duties are:
- Answering incoming phone calls and transferring to relevant staff.
- Answering the door intercom and dealing with clients and other visitors appropriately.
- Opening and distributing incoming mail and packaging and franking outgoing mail on a daily basis
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and general office items as required.
- Processing client payments via online payment system.
- Managing the storage and distribution of client records, both incoming and outgoing.
- Typing of general correspondence to include letters and invoices.
- Entering invoices on the internal ledger system.
- Scanning and filing of documents via the electronic filing system
- Printing of accounts and tax information to be sent to clients.
- Assisting with the production and mailing of marketing information to include client letters, budget publications, and an annual calendar.
- Responsibility for petty cash.
- Assisting with general office ‘housekeeping’, liaising with the landlord and fire and security providers, organising PAT testing.
This is full time permanent position, salary from £21,000 per year.
