Claims Handler

We're seeking to recruit a motivated, professional and dedicated Claims Handler to join us. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to clients concerning any claims issues.

Your primary task is to liaise with clients and other interested parties to expedite the claim and you take a real sense of pride in effectively over delivering against clients’ expectations.

You are an expert claims handler and will handle claims from beginning through to conclusion.

**Your Role**:

- Handle a caseload of mainly Delegated Authority claims, within Insurer guidelines and philosophy. Respond to customers as appropriate as well as Loss Adjusters, Insurers and Third Parties. Advise and update clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim, look to ensure complete customer satisfaction during their claims journey.
- Can you offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of the claim? Are you renowned for encouraging, showing compassion and effectively handling your client’s expectations?
- You will have open conversations with your Line Manager about any issues, queries or areas of concern which may arise.
- Build and maintain your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge. Efficiently running claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
- Balance your workload in order to service the client promptly and expertly. With superb administrative skills, task focused with a desire to develop and cultivate your career with us.
- Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs

**Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Are you Cert CII/Dip CII qualified? That would make a real difference to your contribution along with being educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- You have experience within the insurance industry and expert claims handling focus. We need your strong customer service drive along with your good planning and analytical skills.
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills and will take initiative when assisting team members.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Eligible to work in the UK
