**The role**
Bright Heart Education’s tuition agency (an employment business) seeks experienced **SEN Tutors with excellent written and spoken English **who can tutor English, Maths, Science, humanities or functional skills - experience working with students with ASC strongly desired. Tutors must be **based in Manchester.**
We strongly prefer tutors with good availability (and can offer many hours of tutoring, including during the daytime).
Key qualities we look for in our tutors include:
- Ability to provide engaging and informative lessons that motivate students
- Ability to create bespoke lessons according to the student’s needs
- Caring, patient and empathetic
- Professional and diligent with a strong commitment to safeguarding
**Benefits of the role**
You will be working as a self-employed, part-time tutor, so you can choose which clients/students you wish to provide tuition to. Bright Heart provides its tutors with opportunities for professional development, including the potential for an employment contract if of interest.

- At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
- Excellent spoken and written English
- University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
- SEN tuition/teaching experience and a passion for working with students with SEN
