SEN Tutor (part time)

Do you have experience teaching children with SEN? Have you previously taught students at Secondary and college level and want to expand your experience in a college? Do you want to work as part of a team whose main aim is to provide the best access to education?If so, then get in touch now

We are looking for an inspiring SEN Tutor to join one of our SEN partner schools in Manchester. This is a part time role 2/3 days per week but on occasion the need would be to step in and cover for other members of staff.

As an SEN Tutor you must:

- Be resilient when providing teaching in challenging environments
- Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and manage expectations
- Prioritise consistent daily routine to help minimise anxiety
- Be able to work with the school and various therapists to ensure pupil progression
- Understand the needs of children with additional needs
- Have QTS/QTLS or equivalent and have taught in UK schools for at least a term
