Head of Lifecycle Marketing

**What you'll be doing**: We're looking for an accomplished Head of Lifecycle Marketing to join our rapidly growing marketing team, helping to retain and grow our millions of users a month across more than 50 countries worldwide. Within our high performing Lifecycle team and supporting our retention objectives, you'll be jointly responsible for setting and delivering our Lifecycle strategy across multiple Skyscanner products. This is an amazing opportunity for a world-class lifecycle marketer to make a huge impact as we develop and evolve our truly customer focused engagement and retention strategy for tens of millions of travellers each month.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead, develop & grow a high-performing Lifecycle team, including developing managers
- Work closely with Lifecycle Director & Product team to set and deliver Lifecycle Marketing & Retention strategy
- Lead, inspire and empower the team to leverage testing, personalisation and automation to drive improved performance and efficiencies, to reach potential customers, engage them and increase customer retention through continual improvements in program effectiveness
- Design and own reporting mechanisms and formats to share lifecycle performance, learnings and best practices
- Partner with Analytics team to measure and optimise customer retention KPIs with increasing levels of granularity - owning regular reporting, monthly reviews & contributing to annual plans and budgeting
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient cross-functional relationships with Design, Product, Engineering, and Data tribes to support Lifecycle team's marketing strategies for both web and app users
- Manage relationships with 3rd party tool providers including ESPs, lifecycle / marketing automation platforms, etc
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Experience of successfully growing and developing impactful, highly engaged teams - including managing managers
- Extensive lifecycle marketing experience, with a proven track record of setting effective strategy and leading delivery of exceptional results
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering, building strong and effective relationships that deliver high quality platforms, tools, and experiences to support Lifecycle Marketing priorities
- Experience with workflows, segmentation, user journeys, personalisation, automation strategies, conversion optimisation and other lifecycle tactics
- Experience with app lifecycle marketing including push and in-app notifications
- Proven track record of leading teams to optimise and improve campaign performance (open rates, click through rates, conversions, etc) through A/B testing
- Highly analytical and proficient with Excel to conduct data analysis
- Familiarity with analytics dashboard such as Tableau
- Familiarity with Braze ESP preferable, but not essential
