**Client Details**

Our client is based in Fareham & is well known across the world. They have commutable links from the M27 and currently operating a hybrid model of working.

**Description**

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Prepare and post journals into the SAP financial accounting system
- Support with month end procedures
- Support intercompany reconciliations a
- Support the resolving of variances
- Support and analysis reporting
- Help identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Support members of the team during the close process and both promote and be involved in cross training
- Work closely with external teams

**Profile**

In order to be considered for the role, you must:

- Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
- Be available on short notice
- Studying towards an accounting qualification
- Knowledge of SAP - beneficial
- Be able to communicate effectively - written and verbal
- Be comfortable supporting a team
- Be innovative
