**Company Description** Great Bear is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients. We operate in excess of 9 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering. We are currently recruiter for a Gatehouse at our Dagenham site. Shift: Any 5 in 7 Days Our Goods In/Out Clerks are responsible for the accurate processing and coordination of movement of all of our customer products within the Warehouse and around the wider network. As a Goods In/Out Clerk, you are pivotal to the success and growth of ourbusiness through your contribution to the trust and confidence built in Eddie Stobart by our Customers. This role requires passion, drive, determination and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a highlevel of attention to detail. - Manage products (goods) both in and out of the warehouse, ensuring any stock is updated in the systems in a timely and accurate manner - Conduct stock takes as required and reconcile in the system - Replenish stock as required - Complete purchase orders - Provide updates and reports to the Management team and/or Customer as required - Oversee the loading & unloading of vehicles and trailers - Ensure the warehouse is a safe & clean environment - Update relevant systems with key information to record the outcomes of product movement and tracking of all mandatory KPIs **Qualifications** - Proficient in the use of WMS and Microsoft Excel - An excellent telephone manner - Great communication skills both written and verbal - A "can-do" attitude - Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in and out bound and returns when required **Experience**: - Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL background with part of this within an Administrative position - Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience - Have a strong Customer Service background **Additional Information** In return for your passion, hard work and determination in providing outstanding service to our customers we offer: - Competitive salary - Competitive holidays - Life Assurance - Pension scheme - Staff facilities including vending machines and canteen area - Access to our benefits platform: discounts on high street retailers, utilities, holidays and cinema tickets - Training and development with career progression opportunities and many more When our staff have passion for what they do they work with more care and attention which is reflected to our clients, Click APPLY NOW
