Are you interested in being a part of the engine room of the Brand & Corporate Affairs function to help us achieve top-class delivery in line with our strategy?

This role is offers you the opportunity to lead cross-function strategy and planning; using insight to help devise the team’s overall strategic direction, priorities and plans. This will include leading cross-team monthly planning, control and delivery of strategic priorities and working across verticals and with other functional areas - e.g. Investor Relations, Regulatory Affairs, events and markets - to ensure a coordinated approach to managing Aviva’s reputation over the long term.

You will build strong relationships with each of the teams in the B&CA function to plan and prioritise the deliveries and ensure optimum impact across our key stakeholder groups.

A bit about the job:
Day to day responsibilities will include overseeing Aviva’s planning grid and central planning hub, taking day to day leadership for our Planning Administrator, whilst keeping an understanding of activity and priorities across each team within the function. This involves driving and facilitating information exchange and regular strategic meetings to ensure alignment, and challenging the timing and planning of key communications and events to ensure optimum impact across our stakeholder groups.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Previous experience in corporate affairs within a large matrix environment, with a proven track record of high-quality delivery of results.
- Ability to influence / negotiate with others to achieve solutions due to excellent oral and written communication and creative problem solving skills.
- Highly organised and detail oriented with cross team communications and activity tracking planning experience.
- Demonstrates team working skills in a variety of roles/situations and presents a credible, commercially aware position to key senior stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple high priority tasks effectively, whilst anticipating future needs and actioning proactively.

What you’ll get for this role:

- Starting salary between £50,000 and £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
