At our residential home in Ilkeston, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. Based in the town of Ilkeston, our home provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life and promoting their well-being.

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our service in Ilkeston where we operate a 2 week rolling rota:
Week 1 will be 34.5 hours per week (3 shifts) Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Week 2 will be 46 hours per week (4 shifts), Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Shift Times 7pm - 7am

You will also have the opportunity to pick up extra shifts at any of our company sites.

What we’d like from you:

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care
- Previous experience in a similar role or a genuine interest in mental health care.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate the needs of our service.
- Reliable & trustworthy
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of mental health conditions and an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
- Quality orientation
