Learning Support Assistant

**Full Time 8:30am - 3:30pm.** **Monday to Friday, term time only. £76 per day. Temp to Perm.** **Start ASAP (Notice Periods Considered) - Chichester area, West Sussex, UK.** We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at our SEND school in Chichester. Our school caters for pupils aged 2-19 years with severe and complex learning needs. We have an experienced and committed team who are dedicated to high standards of education, care, and supporting pupils to regulate. Our aim is to make the learning experience fun with a specially designed personalised curriculum that meets the specific needs of each individual. Our vision and values underpin our ambitious expectations for our whole school community. Priority is placed on positive relationships between staff and pupils, pupils and pupils, and within the staff team. A culture of "relentless positivity" is born out in the atmosphere within the school and in the respect we have for each other. Key responsibilities: - Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with severe and complex learning needs - Assisting teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons - Supporting pupils with their personal care needs - Encouraging and motivating pupils to reach their full potential - Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents/guardians - Attending training sessions and staff meetings as required **Requirements**: - Previous experience working with pupils with severe and complex learning needs - A positive and proactive attitude - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - The ability to work effectively as part of a team - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people We offer a supportive and welcoming working environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a competitive salary package.
