Role: Science Technician

Location: Manchester

Career Teachers is looking to recruit an experienced science technician to join a local secondary school in the Manchester area. The role will begin asap and is offered on a full-time, long-term basis until further notice.

This position would suit someone who has previously worked as a science technician within a school, college or university or a science teacher who is now looking for a different role.

Key requirements:

- Provide practical support to the science department
- Support the science teaching staff
- Maintenance of science equipment
- Setting up science experiments
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of all health & safety requirements

The school are looking for an individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have a passion for science and be committed to supporting the pupils at the school.

You will be a motivated person with strong interpersonal and IT skills. In return you will benefit from a competitive daily rate, on-site parking, a modern school build and ongoing CPD.
