Job description Senior Science Technician – Manchester | 3RD November startLocation: Manchester Start Date: 3rd November start Contract: Full-time, Ongoing Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00 – 15:30 Pay: £ per day Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Science technician team, support teaching staff, and ensure the smooth running of practical science lessons across KS3 and KS4. About the Role: Prepare and set up experiments for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and stock Support teachers and students during practical activities Ensure health & safety compliance in all science labs Train and supervise junior technicians where applicable The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience as a Science Technician in a secondary school Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements in school science labs Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and lead a small team Why Join Prospero Teaching?
