Temp to Perm Finance Assistant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work with our client in York on a 6 month contract basis with the view to go permanent.
The successful person will ideally have strong finance assistant experience and experience in purchase ledger/bookkeeping.
**Duties**:
*Download bank transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated.
*Accurately process a high volume of transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated.
*Ensure payments and receipts are coded and posted to the correct ledgers, nominal ledgers codes, cost centres and departments where applicable.
*Reconcile cash to practice management system.
*Raise payments on the bank platform as required.
*Support the business towards the achievement of the group's strategy, goals and objectives.
