**What we're looking for...**

We want great individuals for a children’s home. Can you offer a well rounded view point on the world and offer advice. The simple act of just being there is sometimes all that’s necessary. Can you be that one person who a young person can turn to when the world seems against them?

**The company...**

A provider - where placement matching is priority.

A home from home setting.

A company that is committed to your growth and development, equality and staff retention.

**The role...**

**Qualified staff base salary: £27,991 - £30,510 plus sleep ins and 50% of hourly rate for unsocial hours worked**

**Unqualified staff base salary: £24,780 - £27,317 plus sleep ins and 50% of hourly rate for unsocial hours worked**

Both roles are Plus £45 per sleep PLUS an additional generous unsocial hours of 50% of hourly rate 8pm to 8am.

Shift pattern 36hr contract. Typically 6.30am-2.30pm or 1.30pm-9.30pm (sometimes double shifts) Average 2 sleep per week. 8 week rolling rota.

Team meetings are held where all viewpoints are taking into consideration.

**What you should bring**

Experience of working with children in a residential setting or relevant experience and, if not already obtained, already be on your journey and commited to completing your Level 3.

It is vitally important the young people they support should feel; engaged, validated, enriched, and most importantly included.

Have a shared ambition with the company to help their young people become the best version of themselves.

It is a privilege to work in their home: Yes that’s right you should be proud to work with these fantastic young people in their safe place.

If you are not really worried about the label of staff and you are an adult over the age of 22 who enjoys bringing laughter, fun and wants to get involved with the numerous activities they offer their young people, even if that means cheering them on from the side or sitting waiting till they have finished at their club/activity we want to speak with you.

Are you the sort of person who values the skill of listening? When we know sometimes it’s about what they don’t say rather than what they do say? Can you teach those under appreciated life skills of preparing and cooking a meal, how to catch a bus, or even change a bed and use a washing machine.

If this is You then we think you are amazing and we want to talk to you, to discuss this role and your potential further.

**Side note...**

If this particular role isn't quite what you're looking for but you're working in children's services and are unsure about your next career steps, talk to us at Spirit Care, we genuinelly care about supporting individuals
