This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator, who would like to work in the heart of a vital judicial process.

Coroners are independent judicial office holders. They are a type of specialist judge who investigates and explains certain kinds of deaths, and you will perform a critical role in the management of inquests at the Avon Coroner's Court.

The purpose of the role is to directly support the Inquest and Coroner Support Supervisor (ICSS) in the management of the Avon Coroner’s Service inquest process, and to undertake a range of administrative duties relating to the statutory death certification process.

You must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Administration, or an **equivalent**qualification and/or have experience of working as an administrator, carrying out administrative tasks in a front line, public-facing setting. More information is contained in the job description and person specification.
