Harrison Rabbitt Hair Studio is an established successful premium salon that has recently expanded into a stunning new studio located at a vibrant bustling location on Newport High Street, opposite the amazing recently rejuvenated and very popular Newport Market. At the salon we are proud to offer our clients a gender neutral bespoke personal salon experience. We care about our planet and use high quality ethically produced environmentally friendly products including Goldwell, Pulp Riot, KMS and Olaplex. The salon is easily accessible as we are located a short walk from Newport Train and Bus Station and the NCP High Street Car Park which offers an early bird discount for parking.

**_Senior Stylist will..._**
- Have the ability to carry out a consultation with clients and help clients plan a realistic path to achieve their hair goals
- Have experience at colouring, including Balayage, foiling and all over colour services, _Creative Colour desired but not vital_
- Be experienced at precision cutting and styling
- Be able to advise clients on hair care between salon visits and recommend products for sale
- Be inclusive and diverse and able to communicate with clients from all walks of life

**_Skills and Experience Required_**
- NVQ level 2 certificate in hairdressing, _level 3 desired but not vital_
- 2-3 years previous salon experience
- Great team worker with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver an excellent level of service and build good working relationships with clients
- Ability to use a booking in system and process payments for services
- Able to work flexible hours

**_Junior Stylist will..._**
- Welcome customers and serve refreshments
- Advise clients on cuts, colours and treatments
- Wash, condition, cut, colour and style hair
- Recommend hair care products
- Book clients in and process payments
- Assist with salon cleaning

**_Skills and Experience_**
- NVQ level 2 certificate in hairdressing
- 1 year’s previous salon experience
- Great team worker with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver an excellent level of service and build good working relationships with clients
- Be inclusive and diverse and able to communicate with clients from all walks of life
- Good time management skills
- Ability to use a booking in system and process payments for services
- Able to work flexible hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-37 per week
