We are looking for a full time Senior Litigator to be based in either our Manchester or Liverpool office to join the Litigation department at Partner or Senior Associate level.

**Start date**: As soon as possible

**Location**: Liverpool or Manchester

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Hours**: Full time (Monday - Thursday 9am-5:30pm. Friday 9am-5pm)

**Salary**: Depending on experience
- Have at least 8 years’ PQE and will have broad experience of commercial litigation. (Commercial property litigation experience would be useful but not essential)
- Run their own caseload and will act for SMEs in a wide range of sectors, institutional clients in the financial sector and (if relevant) commercial property owners and funders.
- Will have the opportunity to become involved in some management activities from the outset and will be expected to take part in business development.
- Commercial litigation work will include shareholder and partnership disputes; warranty claims and other claims arising from business sales; professional negligence actions; contested insurance claims; and a wide variety of contract disputes.
- Property litigation (if relevant) will include contested lease renewals, dilapidations claims and a wide range of other disputes involving the sale, purchase and leasing of property.
- Be capable of generating some of their own work
