**Job description** **About Heartwood** With more than a decade’s service in the field of social care, Heartwood Care Group have provided an experienced support for children and young people in their local communities delivering a tailored approach to each child and a flexible care for those with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties who are emotionally vulnerable and occasionally challenging. **We are currently seeking passionate Support Workers to join our exceptional team, dedicated to empowering our young people to achieve trans formative and lasting positive outcomes.** **Pay**: £12.09-12.84/hour **Contracted Hours**: 40 **Shift Patterns**: - 8:00am-11:00pm plus sleep 8:00am to 8:30 pm 8:00 pm-8:30 am **Sleep inn**-£45 pounds(11pm-7am) **Responsibilities** - Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy. - Promote young people’s involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development. - Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike. **Requirements**: - Able to demonstrate an understanding of social emotional and behavioral difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support. - Empowering, approachable and resilient worker who can inspire young people to engage in all aspects of their daily routine - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided. - Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce) are desirable. **Rewards** - Fully funded training qualifications - My Staff shop - Employee Assistance Programme - NEST pension Scheme - 28 days annual leaves (including bank holidays) - Refer a friend Scheme - Enhanced DBS paid by us. - **"This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment**_ Pay: £12.09-£12.94 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Company pension - Discounted or free food - Employee discount - Free parking - Health & wellbeing programme - On-site parking - Referral programme - Store discount Flexible language requirement: - English not required Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Application question(s): - Are you above 20 years old? - Are you willing to commit to 40 hours a week? - Can you work the shift patterns mentioned in the job description? - Are you currently on Sponsorship or Would you need it in the future?
