**Description**:
**An exciting opportunity to join our team as an HR Services Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract.**
In this role, you’ll become part of a dynamic and experienced HR team, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality HR service that supports our people managers and employees. You will support with HR queries, providing first-line advice in accordance with our policies and procedures, and ensuring a consistent and professional approach to HR support.
This role will be suitable if you have experience of previously working within HR, administering a wide range of HR Processes and giving generalist HR advice.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including new starters, changes to terms, benefits, leavers, and personal records.
- Respond to general HR queries and service requests, offering first-line advice aligned with policies.
- Triage complex enquiries to appropriate HR specialists.
- Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with departments (e.g. Payroll, Finance) to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Use SharePoint to streamline HR processes for managers.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and identify areas for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation within HR Services.
- Assist with team tasks and take ownership of workload prioritisation.
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
- CIPD level 3 qualified individual or equivalent, or someone who is prepared to work towards a CIPD status.
- Experience in a similar HR position, administering a wide range of HR Processes and giving generalist HR advice, whilst providing excellent customer service through a variety of methods including telephone and face to face interaction.
- Capability and experience of dealing with confidential matters is essential.
- Experience in preparing written correspondence and communicating with internal and external customers in writing.
- Ability to build strong working relationships**.**
