As a result of sustained business growth and international exposure, our client have created a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their established finance department. Reporting into the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be taskedwith preparing management accounts on a monthly basis alongside the effective treasury and cash flow management in addition to statutory reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Support the Finance Director in delivering accurate, on time financial results including journals, month end close, key line items P&L reporting.
- Ownership of costing and margin reporting including variance analysis for various revenue streams across the Group structure.
- Work with individual Heads of department to enhance key business processes and develop commercial awareness.
- Provide the Head of Finance with concise, and clear updates and ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maximising the use of financial software alongside the continuous improvement of core processes and procedures.
- Oversee and mentor junior members of the team across Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
You will be:

- Either a Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience Accountant in possession of excellent organisational skills.
- An excellent communicator with strong reporting skills.
- A flexible, pro-active worker with the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
- Strong on systems including Microsoft Excel.
- An inquisitive thinker with a willingness to learn, and to contribute to ad-hoc projects as they arise.
