Jenson Fisher is delighted to be once again be retained by an innovative, Global manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Business Partner to be based at their premises in Dundee in Dundee.
**Finance Business Partner**
Our client have retained the services of Martin Crines, Director at Jenson Fisher Consulting to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent, full-time basis.
The key purpose of the Finance Business Partner role is to provide an effective and efficient financial, payroll and taxation management to the company, in order for the the business to meet ongoing requirements in line with the business strategy.
You may be in possession of your full accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) however consideration will also be given to those considered Qualified by Experience. The Finance Business Partner will work closely with department heads across thebusiness and will possess first class communication skills and an ability to communicate financial information to non-financial people.
You will work across multiple platforms including SAP, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Sage Payroll. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, in close co-operation with the management team and all relevant operational departments.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and playing a key role during the month and year end processes.
- Management of business bank accounts including online banking, invoice factoring and the in-house bank.
- Reconciliation and submission of quarterly VAT.
- Continually assessing business variables, using commercial thinking to improve processes and procedures alongside identifying cost improvements across the business.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Responsible for all company taxes, including R&D tax credits and applicable grant submissions.
- Preparing financial information for partners and external accountants as required.
- Supervision of the Finance Assistant and other team members as required.
- HR Support to the to the Organisational & People Development department.
- Working across the Global business on various initiatives.
